The Fantastic Four Radio Show Ft. Bill Murray as the Human Torch

Back in the glory days of radio (aka 1975) there were two New York City DJ’s with a pretty fantastic idea. They brought this idea to the Marvel legend himself, Stan Lee and voila! The Fantastic Four Radio Show was born with Lee taking on the role as narrator. To make matters even cooler, the Human Torch was voiced by a young, promising up-and-coming actor…Bill Murray.

WAIT. Bill Murray as Johnny Storm?! So. Freaking. Cool.

Keep reading to tune into the Human Torch heavy episode #4 (paired with images from the comic) to hear Murray, and also find out where to listen to the rest of the episodes from the radio series. Flame On!

Can’t wait to hear more? Check out the Internet Archive to hear the other ten out of the thirteen episodes.

excellent. radio serials would work today, given the audience’s renew listening habits in an age of podcasts and million-channel satellite radio choices…

There is a zombie podcast that’s a serial called We’re Alive that’s pretty good. At least once the first few episodes move along and they get into interesting new territory.
