Gotye Covers His Own Song

Adding to the seemingly never ending YouTube covers of ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ is the one that will hopefully put this craze to bed. We couldn’t resist posting a couple of them, including Walk Off The Earth’s ’5 Peeps, 1 Guitar’ and ‘The Star Wars That I Used To Know’ and now we post this final, epic mashup of covers put together by the man himself.

How did he do it?  According to Gotye, “All audio and video in Somebodies is from the YouTube user videos featured, each of them a cover or parody of Somebody That I Used To Know. No extra sounds were added to the mix, but I used some EQ, filtering, pitch-shifting and time-stretching to make the music.
