It’s summer time folks, and what better way than to sit indoors in front of your computer and watch FRIGHT BYTES? Summer is a time for all night drive-in horror shows – add a little heat and the jungle and what do you have? Cannibal horror films! This phenomenon (cannibal horror films are hugely popular despite their shady production value and the fact that very few cannibal horror films are made in the 2000s) has lasted throughout the years and it all started with Umberto Lenzi’s THE MAN FROM DEEP RIVER in 1972. LIANNE I’m Lianne. I’m a writer for FANGORIA magazine, and I’m currently working on my first book, ‘GRINDHOUSE GIRLS’, about exploitation and horror actresses.
