Boba Fett Samurai = Awesome

Man, I love Japanese takes on Star Wars cosplay. Mostly because I know that Lucas was greatly inspired by Japanese culture when writing the characters. Even the word “Jedi” comes from jidai-geki, Japanese period dramas that Lucas loved. Darth Vader himself is modeled after a feudal lord Date Masamune, right down to his helmet and when Queen Amidala changes her outfits all the time, she’s doing oiro-naoshi, a ceremonial changing of kimonos done at Japanese weddings.

Allen Armis created this great shogun Boba Fett costume inspired by Clinton Felker’s artwork that you’re probably already familiar with as it went viral a while back.
